Pin & Plate Shoots
If you are looking to improve your handgun skills and have a great time doing it, this event is for you. The Pistol Range is covered and the shoots occur shoot rain or shine.

All events are overseen by NRA certified Range Safety Officers. The range is closed 1/2 hour before shoots for set up.

Pin Shoots:: The targets are regulation bowling pins. Five pins are placed on a table at 25 feet. The object is to knock as many pins down as you can with a maximum of 7 shots. An Official Range Officer monitors the time it takes for you to fire your rounds. The shooter with the lowest time and most pins knocked down is declared the match winner. This is a fun no pressure match enjoyed by many pistol shooters. Shooters may use any bullet except low velocity rounds.
Note: Any bullet except extreme low velocity can be used on Bowling Pins.

Plate Shoots: The targets are 8" steel plates placed at 50ft. The object is to knock as many plates down as you can with a maximum of 7 shots. An Official Range Officer monitors the time it takes for you to fire your rounds. The shooter with the lowest time and most plates knocked down is declared the match winner. This is a fun no pressure match enjoyed by many pistol shooters.
Note: Shooters must use lead bullets when shooting steel plates.
